Respect for the territory and for the grapes, the elegance of the wine,
the pleasant feeling when drinking it: these are the basic principles
which inspire our production philosophy.
The main key points which inspire us are three.
First of all we intend to respect the territory and the geographic area
which we come from: we like to think that who drinks our wine can recognise
Italy in it and more precisely Piedmont, North Piedmont in fact. We
therefore prefer to improve the unique characteristics which the particular
soil composition and the local microclimate offer our grapes, rather
than changing them radically. For this reason we do not use international
vine species, but only and exclusively autochthonous ones: mainly Nebbiolo,
the king vine species of our region, Vespolina, interesting for its
particular scent and deep colour and Bonarda, also called Uva Rara because
its grapes are distant from one another..
